HOST A COURSE
If your club is interested in hosting an RSO training course for your staff or members, we can have one of our instructors visit your range and conduct the 1-day training course for the club/range. The cost is $50 per participant plus any travel expense required to get there.
FOR CCFR-INSURED CLUBS
As a benefit of being a CCFR-insured club or range, we can provide to your facility at no cost, access to the RSO training materials for you to use as a club-level internal training program. Materials will be put on to a USB flash drive and mailed out to you. As an added option, if the club would like an instructor to come down and run through an orientation on conducting the training course (train the trainer), there is no cost for CCFR-insured club for this but travel expenses would need to be covered.
Of course, CCFR insured clubs can also simply choose to host a course have the CCFR come and run a program for them as above (same conditions apply).
NON-CCFR INSURED CLUBS
Non-CCFR insured clubs can choose between take advantage of the train-the-trainer option as well for a one-time fee for access to the course materials. Materials are sent out on a USB flash drive for the club’s internal use. If the club decides they want to have an instructor come do an orientation to the course and materials, there is no additional cost to this other than covering travel expenses (if any).
The RSO course is not offered to the general public on an individual basis. If you are a club representative and wish to host either course at your club please contact rso@firearmrights.ca for more information. These courses are offered to all CCFR insured clubs at no additional fee.
